The KNQA record confirms the qualification and its registered entry level. It does not by itself prove that applications are open at every KMTC campus or during the current intake. Confirm availability directly with KMTC before applying.
The mistake that causes most confusion
D Plain mean grade is not the same as D Plain in a subject
A course can accept a D in Biology or Mathematics and still require D+, C− or C as the overall KCSE mean grade.

If your overall mean grade is D Plain, a D+ programme still requires you to meet its stated overall minimum unless KMTC publishes a different current intake rule.

No, not through the published Certificate in Community Health Nursing route reviewed here. KMTC’s March 2026 material requires a mean grade of C−, C− in English or Kiswahili, C− in Biology, and D+ in one of Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
