Kenya: Category G

Kenya places industrial, construction and agricultural plant and equipment under Category G of its driving-licence framework. The Kenyan rules state that Category G covers equipment including forklifts, motor graders, shovels, excavators and rollers, and that the endorsement is made on the driving licence.

Babcock Education and Training, for example, states that it is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and relevant SETAs and provides heavy-equipment operator training among its programmes.
